The AS20J twin filter and housing kit consists of two 20" Jumbo filter housings. This twin kit is suitable for filtration of a large size house. The filter housings come mounted on a metal wall bracket to allow fixing to a wall etc.
Filter cartridges are to be purchased seperately.
The first stage filter should be a 20 micron pleated filter part number 20PP10J for removal of rust, scale and sand etc. The pleated filter captures most of the initial debris and can be washed clean and reused several times.
The second stage filter can be either a 5 micron polyspun filter or a 1 micron polyspun filter. Both filter out finer sediment but we normally recommend the 5 micron as they take longer to become blocked before requiring replacement. This of course is a personal choice and if you prefer a more filtered water use the 1 micron filter. Both the 5 and the 1 micron polyspun filters have a 12 month maximum life. The 5 micron part number is 5PS10J and the 1 micron is a 1PS10J.
Filter housings are 25mm inlet and 25mm discharge.
